Most of the times that I've wanted to read something, it is books that impact my view of humanity. Deciding to read this book, wasn't one of those times. I wanted to be my 14 year-old-self for a few hours. All I wanted was to read a crappy vampire book. I got something much worse. So much worse that it pushed me into writing a review. The book basically goes like this :Violet: I'm a promiscuous 17 year old alone in a street in London at midnight. Let's get laid tonight! Kaspar: Lol nope. *spontaneously kills 30 people* *kidnaps Violet*Violet: I hate you, you murderer. Kaspar: Girly. *saves her from getting raped.*Violet: OMG, you're my one true love. Then she becomes a vampire. Oh, and there's also some prophecy (which we don't see until about chapter 40) about 'heroines' who will make the world a better place. The book has so many grammatical errors that I almost cried. My 14-year-old self will never forgive me for inflicting this monstrosity on it. I suggest that you either learn from my mistakes or hope that your younger self is more forgiving than mine. ***DID NOT FINISH***This book has such a big hype surrounding it. I got about halfway through and I had to put it down just because I wasn't enjoying myself. It was extremely slow. A couple of times when the female protagonist and the bad boy were hooking up, I thought it was a joke. Like, literally someone was posing as him. But it was real! So because I didn't think it was really happening, I couldn't get into their "love story". Hopefully, I'll pick this book up again. But for now, it's gotta go under "DNF"
