I really wanted to do this book justice and read it the whole way through, however I found myself on numerous occasions livid with the lack of character developments and story arcs, and on a more basic level, the amount of misspelled words or misused grammar. I think this book had the potential to be great, but I was left quite jarred every time I would try to ease into a new chapter and discovered an abrupt close (mostly random running away or loud sounds) that prevented big issues being discussed or dealt with in a way that provided closure and a decent read for readers/audiences.I think I was most of all disappointed with the disjointed nature of this book. I really wanted it to be a good read as I have been searching for the perfect book, and this unfortunately falls substantially short.I would probably recommend this book to very very young adults, and simply as a cautionary book on what not to write/do when starting your own young adult series. Ok so lunch time reading last week was Autumn Rose by Abigail Gibbs which i liked. Some people have moaned about the fact that the two main characters from book 1 Dinner with a Vampire Violet and Kaspar weren't in this book enough. I found though that the story didn't need them overpowering it as it almost is like this one should have come first as it explains more of the back story. This book runs almost parallel time line wise with the first one and focuses more on the lives of Autumn and Fallon. The ending does bring the reader further along with the journey of finding the Dark Heroines, one from each of the nine parallel universes which is what the stories are about. So looks like there could be another possible 7 books being done to continue the journey until an epic battle happens at the end which is where it is all leading to.
I really enjoyed the boo, the characters were lovable. I would recommend to everyone.

This book does not live up to the first book at all, I am so disappointed.
