Does The Noise In My Head Bother You? (2011) - Plot & Excerpts

Steven Tyler the legendary lead singer of Aerosmith tells his tales of sex, drugs and rock & roll in his own unique voice. Steven writes in a way that often has you guessing is this fact, fiction or somewhere in between. Tyler is a humorous narrator and David Dalton has at least 15 books to his credit. Together they tell parts of Steven’s roller coaster ride of a life through scattered song lyrics and stories. But what really shines through the pages & haze of divorces, drugs and rehab is a man truly passionate about music, performing & word playAn amusing read especially if you are a fan of Aerosmith a band that has sold over 100 million records over a long career with many highs and lows. I am an Aerosmith fan. I love Steven Tyler's voice. He is still pretty sexy too. My expectations of the book were pretty much met. I expected a wild sex/drugs/rock and roll romp. That's what I got. Steven Tyler has a way with words. Love it or hate it, it's him. I can't believe he's still alive after some of the things I read. But, I think Aerosmith has more music to make. So, I'm glad he is. We learn a little about his family, boyhood, and summer home. Growing up in the Bronx, Yonkers, etc. But I guess due to the way the book was written, I felt like something was missing.

This books jumps around a great deal, but gives good insight to the way Steven Tyler's mind works.
