Chills, thrills, giggles and holding my breath...that's what this book is made of. I'll agree with other reviewers who have said the same with regards to once you pick this book up and start it it's very hard to lay it down, even to breathe, eat or sleep. The way Ty aka Kid is fantastic, a ball of humor and utterly intelligent to the degree that it'll keep you thrilled by him endlessly. Bear blows my mind and can seem so gullible. There are times where you think he just can't stand on his own 2 feet and times where he will shock you, showing that he can. Otter is completely lovable. They're all the perfectly matched trio that just BELONG. Meant to be in a world of chaos and sometimes turmoil where they're challenged, but together can rise to the top. I'm into the second book and unable to get enough. Need a good laugh? It's here. A cry? It's here too. A story with a multitude of situations and characters that will keep you entertained. I. AM! I've read comments on how they say this book was a rip-off of the movie "Shelter". I still read it because... well, you know, it was written by T.J Klune. So I may have anticipated certain events to be almost the same as Shelter but it wasn't. Although scenarios were a bit similar, it wasn't totally a copy of the movie. I went through a rollercoaster ride of smiles, tears, and stifled laughter. Although the one star that evaded my rating is the fact that it's a bit too wordy for me. Sorry.Overall this book is surely worth your time whether you've watched the movie or not.
