At first this book started slow but had very good cat scenes so I kept reading. It continued on with a lot of twists and turns which kept me guessing until the end. What happened at the end I could not have guessed. I also understand now why it had a slow start. There were a few mysteries to uncover. It was a very satisfying cozy mystery with a fantastic cat sleuth! I will definitely be continuing on with the series. Hamlet the cat very nearly steals the stage from all the other players in this one :) I look forward to seeing how Darla's relationship with the crotchety feline she inherits will develop over the series. Love him! I also enjoyed learning what goes on behind the scenes in a bookstore to set up for a signing. Unique, interesting plot that kept me guessing as to the identity of the killer until the very end. Entertaining, fun read!
