This book is basically a retelling of Dracula in a more modern voice and a very different context. I thought the prose of Karen Essex was marvellous. She could evoke a spine tingle every now and then. The book kept me reading for long periods of time and I enjoyed it immensely. I like how she explored Mina's origins as when I read the original Dracula her character was rather lacking and I felt Lucy was explored much more than her and she was not as important. Ultimately I liked this book and I feel anyone who enjoyed Dracula should read this. I've been a Dracula fan since I was a kid. Love the novel, and the classic horror films. Though I prefer the "Classic" version, I am open to reading different takes on the story. This is Mina's version, on what REALLY happened.....safe to say, it's not all what you expect. It wasn't great, but it passed the time. A few "Hot" scenes with Mina, which I didn't mind. I will say this though-I like this novel better than "Dracula The Un-Dead". Now, I'm in the mood to read the classic again!!!
What do You think about Dracula In Love (2010)?
I want just Mina to at least once spend her immortal life with The Count....

This is the worst book ever. That is not hyperbole.

Nice beach read with a subtle twist at the end.
