let's just say I loved the book...I loved the characters...the interaction...the intensity n connection between Hayden n theia but I hate the solution to the ending...I mean why they couldn't perform an exorcism on theia n Hayden so they could be fully human n then leave someone else in charge of the under.....no sense but I love the book..I just wish I had read theia n Hayden finally giving into their desire.. I took this book down a whole star because of Amelia, who was constantly chipper and radiated the most epic case of Mary Sue-ness there ever was. She wasn't even the main character, but every time she spoke, it felt like she wanted desperately to become one, and so made herself be perfect and insecure and have all the guys like her because she's evidently just so incredibly attractive - not that she knows, because that would simply be unheard of. The rest of the book was alright, though I guessed some of the plot twists, so I wasn't very pleased with that. As for Haden, he was kinda annoying as a jealous person, which he was for much of this book. And that's saying a lot, because I tend to like reading the jealous thing. Theia was... utterly unmemorable. Basically this book was about her moping. "I can't be with you, Haden," was probably her catch-phrase, right along side with, "It's better this way." Which, of course, didn't even matter, because of course there was always going to be a semi-happy HEA.
