oh my god I was teetering on the edge of this book. although it was brief and relatively fast paced, it didn't make it any less agitating and emotionally powerful. I felt the lust and desire between drew and fable just like I had in their previous books. I found it was exceptionally sweet when they showed how much they care for each other. Monica Murphy did an amazing job tying up the loose ends into his novella, concluding their love story. I cannot get over how old Owen is in this book! I still think of him as the young thirteen year old boy who broke down in his sisters arms when he found out his mother abandoned him. its so strange seeing him all grown up, in college, playing football, taking responsibility. he's so old now. he's no longer the thirteen year old boy we were first introduced to. it was such a bizarre feeling when he was there with Fable at the hospital or when he was talking to drew on the phone, I can't picture eighteen year old drew there, I only see his younger self and it startles me because the picture doesn't look right. this book showed how Owen has changed over the years, how he's becoming more responsible, how he still dependent and has an irrevocable love for his sister, truly appreciating all he has done for him. It wasn't very shocking to discover fable got pregnant in thus book. I think we all knew it was going to happen. that is how they conclude most love stories anyhow. I love baby autumn! she's so adorable and I love seeing (or reading, I guess) how much her mama and papa share a deep affection and love for her. I do hope they have more children. I am super thrilled to know that Owen's story is now available and it will be, like I've repeated multiple times, strange hearing his point of view as a college student, a changed man. my thanks goes out to the incredible author, Monica Murphy for writing such incredible novels that have me engrossed and addicted within the first few pages. 3 and half stars for this book. And the reason for this is simple, I have a love/hate relationship with this book.I loved how it shows some aspect of reality in there, it isn't at all hunky dory and neither is it that cheesy. However, seeing the name of this book and front cover I thought it was going to be a light and airy fairy read. So I guess I kind of do like cheesy. And also, never to judge a book by it's cover. So meet Drew eager to find Fable to help him run away from his demons at his home. And, Fable a girl who needs money to fend of for her little brother because of her stupid alcoholic mother. As, I said I loved that this book shows reality to some certain extent. It showed how their home lives are what made them today, even though that confession that bitch made, made my skin crawl. And I like Drew's character however, Fable she's I don't know.. She's different from all the other people I've read about. She's headstrong, and not weak neither is she scared of what to say or do. She smokes, She speaks her mind,However, has the best intention and interest in her heart. And Drew, Well his a introvert,And strangely, the college saviour, And has deep-rooted issues.Honestly, just give the book a try. It's interesting, cause even though I don't want to read it. I still do!!
What do You think about Drew + Fable Forever (2014)?
I enjoyed the novella! Hopefully we can get an update on Fable's friend Jen in another book.
