Decent thriller - not great, but decent. Another insane bad guy, who seems to have armies of gad guys to do his dirty work. In this thriller, there is a virus hidden in the garden of Eden. This virus is the 'tree of life" - if we are infected with it, we will never die. Somehow, it keeps our cells from dying. The bad guy wants to infect the world, so there will be a population explosion, with resulting hunger, death, famine, misery. Oh, what fun! Big chases, big fights, explosions, this has them all. I received this novel from NetGalley. This novel is fast-paced, thrilling and packed full of adventure. The characters are incredible and the story takes you on a journey, not only on location, but a journey of mentality and himanity. This is the third novel in a series with these particular protagonists, and I haven't read the previous two, this didn't effect enjoying this novel at all, there was no information lacking nor overlapping, which made it easy to get to know these characters without having any prior knowledge from the previous novels, which I will definitely be reading now! This novel was a great read, engaging from the very first page, courageous and entertaining, although It did lag at times, and some scenes, in my opinion weren't needed, this novel is a fantastic representation of the genre and will be loved by anyone who enjoys a great adventure or crime novel. wonderful!

Very bland. No real excitement and the writing was quite boring.
