Wulf - the hunter no one remembers except his own blood descendants and Cassandra Peters - direct descendant of Apollo and half human half Apollite expected to die very soon. Can you say star crossed lovers?Lots going on in this book. Someone described it as find sympathy for the Daimons book. One thing about this set - all the heroes are tortured. All the bad guys have their own solid motivations for their actions. Basically there are no bad guys just misunderstood characters.Wulf never signed up to be a hunter. He was tricked into it by trusting a girl. At first I was a little confused about the timeline. I even thought that I was reading it out of order, but then realized it back tracked a little was running parallel to the other timeline in the books.I didn't like Wulf as much as I liked the other hunters. I felt that his character was underdeveloped when compared to Cassie. I would have liked more of him. I also thought that the over=protectiveness did not come through either.I loved the plot and the story line! It was a great twist in the series and makes me want to read more. I can't wait for Acheron's book. I have a feeling it will be a doozy!
