El Misterio De Boscombe Valley (1901) - Plot & Excerpts
This book is gold. The story is intriguing and it is very interesting to know how some singular points in McCarthy junior's confession could be viewed in two ways: ensuring that he was indeed guilty, as Lestrade and Watson suspected upon listening to it, or proving his innocence, as Holmes believed, or rather deduced for he always relied upon facts and his observation. The ending was kind of surprising because I didn't think that Holmes would let the culprit go just to respect his dying wish. I thought he had a strict sense of justice, however apparently I was wrong. I am rating this story separately from the entire book for one reason; Sherlock holmes is rubbing off on me! When all the facts and events were laid out, I figured the entire case out, right down to the tiniest detail. In the end I found that my theory was incredibly accurate and it brought me the sweetest of thrills! I shall rate the entire book, "The adventures of Sherlock Holmes" as a whole when I have finished the rest of it.

Intriguing. Short and easy to follow, not my favourite of Sherlock's adventures but still very good.
