El Ritual De Avebury (2011) - Plot & Excerpts

Lia finds the missing key and stone in one really easy hiding spot. There is a bit of traveling time between events which is much less then in the previous book but still drove me crazy. Yes I get its 1800 but still we don't need to read about this. Confrontation with Alice keeps the book entertaining especially when James returns in but then thats really short and Alice isn't as evil as she was before. She's more depressed because she knows that James loves Lia while Lia only strives to use Alice for her own means. I am angry at Lia for resenting her sister and feel compassion for Alice. If only this story was written from Alice's POV it would have been more interesting. Once again Dimitri takes center stage in this book which is rather a shame since this book isn't about him. Lia can not forgive anyone and is distrustful throughout the whole book. Alice would have made a better main character but her part is pretty much non existent until like the last ten pages with a less then mediocre climax. I hate a good series to end, however it had no place else to go. I have not read with such gusto in way too long. Michelle Zink's writing style was picturesque for my way of thinking. I could see & feel her descriptions (to the point of ducking) as they raced on horseback through the forrest's & fields. I give her full credit for the dark circles under my tired eyes. Thank you for an exciting read (x's 3).
