It was a beautiful evening. A warm breeze fluttered the leaves of the trees. Candles flickered and tall lanterns, pressed into the sand, burned. A small table with two chairs had been prepared with a snowy white cloth and a beautiful floral centerpiece. Silver flatware shimmered in the candlelight. A waiter in a black and white uniform, yep a waiter on a beach in the middle of nowhere, pulled out a chair and Xavier lowered her into it. He draped a napkin across her lap. The men then moved the table toward her rather than moving her in. She giggled and thanked them both. Xavier sat in the chair opposite and shook out his napkin before laying it on his lap. “How the hell did you organize to have a waiter out here?” “Anything for you, princess. There will be baskets delivered for breakfast and lunch but dinner will be here every night. It’s all part of the service for our guests.” The waiter removed two plates from a large trolley, heaven only knew how he managed to get it down there.
