Good tale of young supernaturals. I don't always like young adult literature because of all the teenage drama, drama, drama-I get enough of that in my job, but this series is very well done. The characters are real (although they are vampires, witches, werewolves, and various other species other than human) and the humor is fantastic. Lots of sarcasm between friends which reminds me of my own friends. The mystery that Kylie had to solved had a good conclusion and the lingering mysteries of her life leave me anxious to continue the story. I'm frustrated. I'm frustrated because until I know what "special" "perfect" Kylie is.. I have to just continue the series.I AM glad the reason the person she needed to save wasn't what I thought, but seriously though.. the same as the first book: drags like crap for about 80% of the it and then EVERYTHING happens all at once. I appreciate that there actually were hints this time scattered about before the end, unlike book one where that end blind-sided me completely.Main reason I don't want to continue is I just don't like Kylie. She's like a puritan that still craves sex. I mean, her breasts got bigger for... what reason exactly? Just to make her an object as far as I can tell seeing as THREE guys pine after her in this one. Also, it still doesn't set well how casual she is with pretty much every adult in the series..*sigh* but unless I can find the third one at the library or elsewhere to borrow, I probably won't be reading it. Decided I need to read what I have and won't be buying anything new. Not that I'm eagerly awaiting reading about Kylie being clueless and an instantly forgivable douche or anything.. just.. what is she, damnit?! (don't tell me, actually. I have a theory)
What do You think about Erwacht Im Morgengrauen (2013)?
Nice fluffy story with a fairly irritating main character but an OK plot

I'm going to give one more book a try before I give up on this series.
