3.5 starsI rounded up for feels. This book is full of them. I like Ethan and Carter together an awful lot. They're both complex and wonderful characters. My one reservation has to do with what Carter gets out of the relationship. I would have liked to see more about how he's supported by Ethan and also about his family. It's a special relationship, and I am happy I read their story. In some ways, though, it feels more HFN than HEA to me. Carter is a musically gifted young man with Tourette's Syndrome. His life is sheltered and limited by his condition. When he bought and moved into a new home out of the city, he has no idea what kinds of changes in his life his new neighbor will bring. Ethan was a promising young man when he received a Traumatic Brain Injury. Fate throws these two young men together in a way that makes the sum of the parts much greater than the whole.Ms. Loveless has created three dimensional characters and a beautifully crafted story in this masterpiece of love between two damaged souls. Reading the story of Ethan and Carter is a experience like no other. Please read this book. You won't regret it.
I would definitely recommend this book. Lovely read.
