Every Man In This Village Is A Liar: An Education In War (2010) - Plot & Excerpts
I agree with Susie Linfield's Washington Post review that Megan is a little addicted to ornate, sometimes incomprehensible metaphors but this is a fine book. Megan has a point of view that few have. She's experienced war up close and she's spent enough time in the developing world to understand. Just about every page has a quote worth pondering. Some of it is brilliant. She is honest, raw, and she paid dearly for her education. Gotta respect her.
What do You think about Every Man In This Village Is A Liar: An Education In War (2010)?
Powerful. Undeniably powerful. Gripping. Dark. Crushingly sad. But at times very beautiful.

Could not finish this book. Too graphic for a non-fiction book for my tastes.
