I absolutely loved this book; as much as it is a journey to make peace with the life and death of her father, this was a tale if looking for miracles, magic, things beyond explanation. I found a kindred spirit in Signe, someone who walks through the woods looking for fairies, someone who has struggled through translating Gaelic, someone who reads all the Celtic lore she can get her hands on. I know she wrote it for herself, but this book read like a letter to me. Amazing! LOVED this book - especially after just returning from the magical lands myself! I am so eager to return and this has fueled my desire no end! Signe has a beautiful writing style and I enjoyed this so much :DMy husband happened to find this book for me at the beautiful Chalice Gardens in Glastonbury which feels so fitting as I had my own remarkable experience there too ahhh bless the faeries I do I do I do believe!
Not sure if faries exist, but it´s a lovely and very entertaining book.

couldn't help but feel a kinship with Pike based on her personal quest.
