While the dragons are just as heart-stopping, and Mac was a favorite of mine going in, this story just didn't produce any kind of real depth in the relationship. It was all about the sex, with both characters jumping in hot and heavy from the get go, but nothing more really being offered. There were so many "almost" moments, where the connection could have been deepened ... but wasn't. This left the final resolution jumping to a conclusion with a multitude of threads brushed over. It still holds all the great plot points that keep a reader turning pages and wanting more, though! In this third book of this awesome series, Callahan continues the story and continued to rock my world with just about everything! I really really love this book. The second one stands as my favorite, but the story here, Mac, and Tania had my interest and I couldn't seem to read it fast enough! Only one thing irked me a little. Toward the end of the book the turn it took with her deciding to leave, didn't seem to fit her character and it also seemed as if it was just thrown in there because "something" had to happen in the story before the end. That being said, I really did love it. It's well-written, makes you laugh and cry and has action that makes you sit on the end of your seat. Can't wait to dig into number four!
