This great cultural book is about a group of babies and how they celebrate their culture with fiestas, pinatas, dancing, and much more. This book is in the genre of children's literature. The themes of this book is generally the Latino culture and how it is expressed through fiestas by a group of babies. This book was entertaining, short, sweet, and it even gave me some insight into the Latino culture. This book is appropriate for the ages of 3 months to 3 years. I loved this book! Fiesta babies is a wonderful cultural celebration that happens in San Antonio. The book has a catchy rhythm to it that can really grab a child’s attention. The repetition and picture allow the children to start reading it independently. Also, the way the language is both Spanish and English can help introduce children to new words. The illustrations are vibrant and colorful which portray what fiesta is all about. It’s a great book of culture!
