First off I am so glad I didn't read any of the reviews of this book before reading it. Some off them are so rude and not necessary. Author's put a lot of time and heart into writing. if you don't like a book simply say that without being a jerk. I really liked this book. The author did an amazing job of imagining things that I have not read in any other stories. For example, Jonah's family hating that they are shifters and that shifting is a sin. Also the fact that everyone knows about shifters but still doesn't accept them. Also the whole small town thing was great! Not something I expected and I happy to say I really enjoyed it. I would have liked to see more about Cole's past. But other than that I liked this book so much I bought the remaining released one's in the series and read them all in one day.4.25 stars Would give 3.5*.Well a horse and a wolf!! An older man and a very young man!! This book was all about opposites. A year of hell and then a rescue. Then accepting each other and also accepting their shifter halves for different reasons. Then battling homophobic townsfolk and family.This all happened in a short book that was actually really good. It was fast paced and well written. There was a connection between the 2 MC's that was believable even with the big differences. I need to read Billy's story now.
