Needing A Little Christmas (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
My Quickie Review:Christmas Eve, snowed-in in a remote mountain cabin, a writer, an alpha mountain man....this book hit all my buttons. I enjoyed it. It's definitely a fun, little romantic holiday diversion for an evening's read. At first it seemed like these two guys have an insta-love relationship....they are attracted before they ever meet...just from talking on the phone. But they do have a couple of meetings before they truly hook up...developing a friendship and some true chemistry first. I was thankful for that. It is short, sweet and high on the heat factor....bear rug in a cold mountain cabin in front of the fireplace...I can get behind that idea. I liked it. What a fun short read! I simply can't tell you how many times I've read this because I've read again and again to enjoy Dave and Mac's lovely story. Of course, not that any "happily-ever-after" is visible at the beginning of the book- a crappy, cheating ex-boyfriend and a concerned mother, then the drive in the snowstorm. No supplies and several feet of snow. But then Mac came to the rescue :). I'm not giving you anymore than that- you gotta read the book for the lovely romance and the hot sex! Silvia Violet is an absolutely wonderful author.
