Finding The Right Girl (The CAN'T RESIST Series, Book #4) (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
4 Stars. This is a very sweet story in parts, but I definitely think it suffered from my lack of having read the first book. I liked Brian and Tessa, and how he was more than willing to walk through fire for her. I don't know if the previous book really included them getting to know one another, but I felt like there was some definite lack of that for a while in this book. And when they did talk, I often got kind of bored with their long, overly informative and not always relevant stories. I also felt like I was being lectured about Huntington's Disease more than I was reading a love story. Despite these shortcomings, I still enjoyed the story (largely because of Brian). Before you pick up this book to read, grab a fresh box of tissue and keep it close. This is an amazing story about some pretty amazing people. Brian Sullivan, his daughter Skylar, and Tessa Daniels are in for quite an emotional ride. NO SPOILERS! Just know that this Nice Girl to Love series, which also flows in to the Cactus Creek series, is a must read for anyone who loves the emotional contemporary romance books with ultra sexy alpha men. Fantastic story written by an equally fantastic author. This is a book I could read over and over.
