Surprisingly better-written than the first book. A definite increase in action, drama and believability in the characters. The plot developments were much more intense, especially the one involving Dosinia and Brody. I greatly disliked Tellin's character and rightly suspected him from the beginning. I had hoped that the author wouldn't kick the reader in the teeth by making an actual bond between them. I must say, Lily's decision in the final five pages of the book made me angry, so much so I actually cursed her at reading it. Real cursing, mind you. Guess this shows definite improvement since the last book, as this time around the characters actually made an impression on me. Confermo le tre stelline che avevo dato alla prima parte di questa saga. In realtà, questo mi è piaciuto meno...Leggero e divertente è una lettura piacevole ed affascinante (se trovate affascinanti le storie sulle sirene)! Tuttavia... La storia questa volta non è originale, segue un po' l'andazzo del primo e di svolte ce ne sono realmente poche... Anche le decisioni di Lily non mi piacciono, non è poi così sicura come vuole dare a vedere e, alla fine, tutto si risolve nel modo più semplice possibile, inizi quasi a chiederti perchè la protagonista s'è fatta tutti questi problemi se la soluzione era così facile? Un po' deludente, mi aspettavo molto di più ed è un peccato perchè le idee c'erano ma non sono state sviluppate come avrei preferito.
