*I am using the same review for this one as well as the second book*Okay idea. Failed execution. I was bored and skim read quite a lot of the back half. I wouldn't have missed anything by not reading this book. Mention of prostitution. Some violence. Nothing special. Nothing bad. The characters were bland and blah. The writing was sub par. The only "person" I liked was the computer, ?PSA?, I think. Not recommended. It took me a long time to get into this...I listened to it on CD so I am not sure if that was why or not, I quite liked Lily but only felt sorry for Zeph...never quite identified with him. The leaders of all of the groups were so unlikable and untrustworthy (which is common in dystopian fiction, I recognize) that it was hard to really root for anyone....except Lily herself. This dystopian world wasn't as well developed or at least did not draw me in as well as some.
Interesting idea for a book, but the plotting was a bit slow.

Really liked this story. Rooting for the underdog is fun!
