I loved this book and stayed up late to finish reading it. I liked how things were revealed a bit at a time. There were things that the characters nor the reader knew, things one character knew but other characters and the readers did not know, and there were things the characters knew and the reader didn't. Over the course of the book bits and pieces of the puzzle were revealed. This book is full of characters with depth that I really enjoyed getting to know. I look forward to reading more books by Sarah Eden.Content: Clean - mild violenceSource: Purchased copy Clean Regency Era romance. Nobleman discovers his childhood sweetheart living in poverty after she disappeared four years earlier under mysterious circumstances. He works to regain her trust. She struggles to put the pieces of her life back together while struggling with the tragic circumstances that drove her from home. Threatening notes arrive daily. The ending leaves a few major points unanswered but is happy-ish. Some violence, no sex or swearing.
Wasn't fabulous, but wasn't horrible either. content:Clean! Like all Sarah Eden's books are :)

Probably not my favorite Sarah M. Eden book, but still an enjoyable, entertaining read.
