This was a short, fun read and a great beginning to what could be an interesting series. As is typical in a "mated pair" scenario, there is insta-love but I'll admit I didn't find it jarring at all in this case. It was more presented as a case of insta-lust which is perfectly acceptable in any story and the love followed. Very quickly, yes, but as I said to be expected. I'm looking forward to finding the time to read the rest of this series. Somehow the story reminds me of Amber Kell's Trials of Tam. Though Tam is a much stronger character than Adrian. And I like Talan better than Valko. The story is rather straight-forward, but I really like the ending. I was never fond of weak protagonist and Adrian certainly is not. The story progress rather slow but it's a good pace and very enjoyable read.I'll give 4 for this title.
This was cute and to the point. No big confortation but its not a big book so that's cool.
