I like this ending overall. Wished I didn't finish it because it's awesome. Overall, this series was pretty amazing. Lots of action and the comedy section really dampened how serious this manga really was. I loved it. And all the characters too. I couldn't believe it but I also grew to love Greed as well. Didn't think I would but then again, I did end up being sympathetic to the last few homunculi :| I was really concerned over the recent volumes that this series would crawl across the finish line in a whimper, but this was a satisfying and exciting conclusion to the series. After playing second fiddle to their supporting cast for far-too-many volumes, Ed and Al step up in a big way, and the Final Battle (which has gone on a bit too long) finally ends. Every character gets a suitable and appropriate resolution. And there's a bit in the extras after the final chapter that is genuinely sweet.Sweet, touching, and exciting. This is pretty much what I wanted from the ending of this series. I think there were parts that could have been left out, but this was the ending I wanted.
