When I first picked up this book, I was really excited to read it. I got about 20 pages in and I was bored out of my mind. I put the book back on my shelf without finishing it. After a couple of months I decided to try and read it again. After I got past the first couple of chapters I really enjoyed it! I enjoyed it so much that I bought the second book and it was even better! All and all, this series is amazing! This is a fluffy light read and if that's what you want this is for you. It's fun and easy to read, more of a tween book say 10-14yr olds. But as a 31yr old I enjoyed it too. I wasn't expecting much from it, but what I got I enjoyed. Holly makes fun characters that you can't help falling in love with and are happy when they do well, laugh when they do silly stuff and cringe when it's awakward. It did touch throughout the book on bullying with the main character Harriet and Alexa, but it never came across meaningless or too dark of a theme, it balanced out well. You can't help but laugh along with Harriet and be happy for her in the end. All in all a happy feel good read
