But I was glad I continued on as it began to pick up the pace and became very enjoyable. Having grown up in California and then moving to a small Texas town, I could truly understand Lois' culture shock when moving from the north to Louisiana. Different climate, different lifestyle, different values just to name a few. But I loved that Lois learned to appreciate these differences and see how they could add to the fullness of her life. I hope that the next book in the series continues the growing relationship between Lois and Craig as well as what's happening at the Green News-Item.FAVORITE QUOTES: "You are not here by accident today... God has a plan and purpose for yourlife. People are so afraid of failing; but if God wants you to do something, you don't have to worry about failing because God gets results. He gives you the wisdom to do what he wants you to do. If results don't come, you don't have to feel bad about it.""This peace goes beyond what we can understand. You can try all you want to fit it into some neat little package, but it won't go. God's greater than you are, understands more, loves more. God wants more for you than you have even begun to imagine.""I usually tell people ther purpose in life is to love God and to love others, wherever they are and whatever they're doing and to make sure they're enjoying life along the way.
What do You think about Gone To Green (2009)?
Different, but still good. The story line kept me captivated until the end.
