What do You think about Good And Beautiful God: Falling In Love With The God Jesus Knows (2011)?
Every Christian should read this book, especially those who have been following Jesus for a "long" time. I have been a Christ-follower for more than 20 years and I must say that reading this book made me fall in love with Jesus all over again, and now, with a more solid basis why... kinda like getting married because of some "unexplainable magic," but now, embracing that marriage because I KNOW why. God is too beautiful not to be known fully, as much as He had revealed Himself, and to miss His awesome qualities is detrimental not only to His worshipper but those watching the worshipper as well.I would love to organize a Bible study based on this book. :-)

This book was something of a surprise and a complete delight to read. We've got many false narratives banging around inside our heads that end up sabotaging our hopes and intentions to live as good (God's) people. The author suggests we need to replace these false narratives with those of Jesus. Think Romans 12:2. This is a well-written book that tells the truth with a very light touch. I don't find that very often. I'll go on to read his second book; The Good & Beautiful Life... It's that good.
