Who’s the old guy she’s talking to?” “Oh, that’s Rabbi Majikovsky. The guy is ancient, and you’ll never meet a nicer man. I’ve heard that he just turned a hundred years old.” I imagine Gertie was drawn to him because she sometimes enjoyed talking to the elderly. As she listened to them reminisce, it allowed her to catch up on some of the things she had missed during her frozen years.
