This author seriously needs more notice...I mean wow, I assumed that this would be one of those (well she doesn't have much attention so maybe "Waiting In The Wings" is a one-hit book, maybe I won't enjoy much else from her)I mean what am I supposed to assume off the bat? So I read this and its a lot different but it still feels a lot of her previous book (which is good)You can tell she had written it which when authors manage to properly do it, you end up enjoying all their books no matter how big or small the difference because she will always pull those same strings time and time again.I will say one thing directly related to the book. It is indeed in the same universe as "Waiting in the Wings"I don't want to spoil this at all so if you enjoyed "Waiting in the Wings", read this book. Great story with two vastly different characters who somehow fall for each other nonetheless. One can't help but develop a deep affection for these characters, particularly Sarah. You'll find yourself cheering Sarah, Emory, and of course Grace on throughout the book. This romance proves that despite differences in class and background, when the love is there, there is no hurdle too great. The sex scenes contain some of the most well written erotica I've read in this genre. Nothing felt forced or fake or cheesy, and the amount of sex in the book was just right--not too much and not too little. All in all, Melissa Brayden's "Heart Block" is a class act. I look forward to reading more from this author.
