Are you kiddin ´me. I´m not really sure if i should laugh or cry but the ending was hilarious. If you read the cirque du freak series you know what i´m talking about. I was so confused because the last book was so strange and disturbing i kinda felt like this after i had finished the cdf series.. OMG I´m not sure if i´am strong enough to read his other book if he has some... "DD__________________________________________________________________"Don´t become a monster. Remember who you are, the people who love you, why you fight.""Is the water safe to drink?" Kirili asks , stepping towards the dark pool."It´s not water," I tell him. "If you get close, it will pull you in and eat you.""Nice," Shark grunts. " You know how to pick the perfect spot for a date. ""Are there any computers here?" Timas asks, studying the trees." This is the universe of the Demonata," I remind him." The home of magic and monsters, nightmares and madness. Of course there are no bloody computers.!""Why not?" he asks." Maybe demons like to surf the web too.""Never. I´d rather die then fight beside the likes of Lord Loss.""I tried death."Bec says. " It wawsn´t much fun."That would be the decent thing. But I´m a slime-covered, hairy, mutated, wolfen beast. What the hell do I know about decency?""How much longer do you think you can keep going?"I ask. Shar shrugs. " I should havebeen dead weeks ago, as my doctors kept telling me. Having cheated death this long, who knows?" Hell's Heroes - The 10th and final book in the Demonata series.Narrated by Grubbs, he along with Kernel and friends head into battle against the demonic forces of Lord Loss and the demon master himself. It all comes down in defeating him and saving their world. I like how it references the other books. In each book the writing style is fast paced but at the same time draws you in. Like with other book series, it's a little sad to see it end. Throughout the series, you got to know about Grubbs, Kernel and Bec along with the supporting characters as well. To know how it all ends, just read the book, but only after you read the others first. You have werewolves, demons and magic. What's not to love?
What do You think about Hell's Heroes (2009)?
Over at last! And what a wonderfully gruesome series this is.
