HELP! A Bear Is Eating Me! (2008) - Plot & Excerpts
I would give this book 3 stars, but it gets an extra one for me just because the title is "HELP! A Bear is Eating Me" and Hansen actually pulls off making a book that is precisely described by that title.The book is funny and obscene in just the right amounts. It also gets a little boring, which is mitigated by the fact that it's so short. I have to admit feeling a little ripped off by a book that's $10.95, but only 129 pages of largish type. Brilliant. Honestly, one of the funniest books I've ever read. I know Marv Pushkin is a total jackass, but OMG is he funny. I was about 3/4 of the way through the book when I started thinking "What do you know, a bizarro book that isn't going to make me feel sort of lost and sad", then BAM! Mykle Hansen did what these guys do best, and ripped my heart right out of my chest. I absolutely loved this book, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Not quite as clever or witty as I hoped, but a fairly entertaining short read nonetheless.
