Stars: 5Overall: Hemy & Onyx have been together since they were children, but Onyx has had enough of Hemy cheating and forgetting about her, so she packs her stuff up and leaves him. Fast Forward 4 years and Hemy is on his way to a bachelorette party and who does he see there, none other than Onyx and boy has she changed. After that point Hemy decides that he is going to do everything in his power to change the way she thinks about him and show her that he has changed for the better. Onyx is weary of Hemy and has a big secret that she has been keeping to herself and she isn't sure Hemy is going to be to happy about and she is also scared that he is going to break her heart even more than he did the first time around. In the end they seem to work everything out and they live rocking HEA.Pros: I loved Onyx and how she was able to change herself instead of caving in on herself after leaving Hemy and everything behind. She was such a strong and interesting character and I couldn't get enough of her. Cons: I personally didn't have any cons with this story.Characters: Hemy & OnyxPage Turner: YES!!Series Cont: YES! This is apart of the Walk of Shame series so to get a good idea of what the whole series is about, you should read in order starting with Slade. These boys are mail strippers doing what they do best but there are reasons. Some are known, some are not. But it takes a strong girl to change these men. Hemy had his girl, Onyx but he lost her. He couldn't put up with some family stuff and she couldn't take his drug use anymore. Trust was broken. It's 4 years later and he is sober but he is running through the motions until he locks eyes with Onyx. He wants the past forgotten, he claiming his girl. Onyx on the other hand cannot forget the past so easily. There are also secrets. Will they be able to get past all the heartache and trust issues? You'll have to read and see. I'm digging this series. Like I had said before this is a first for me to see it this type of life style. A mans point of view. It's an interesting and dirty read. I like the plot. I like the characters and I love the dirty talkin men. I was hooked from the get go. I didn't want to put this down.
