The crunch of gravel preceded a red Mazda Miata pulling into the driveway, and Cooper stopped tapping on the hood of his truck. Having already waited over an hour in the driveway of the two-story, red-brick house minutes outside of Port Perry, he’d begun to wonder if Melinda would ever show up.
