I liked this book. Yes, it was totally unbelievable and there wasn't much character development or build-up. Normally, that would drive me crazy and I'd lose interest. In this case, I liked the characters and the story enough, despite all that, to keep reading. It wasn't an epic love story and I didn't expect it to be. It was a hot, sexy, erotic tale, featuring an uber-alpha male and a stereotypical damsel in distress. It was an easy, quick and entertaining read. Guilty pleasure...and I liked it! I read this book in a few hours. Unlike some books in this genre it had a great storyline that held my attention from start to finish. I didn't find it difficult to read which is sometimes the case. I think this is because there was a connection between the two main character that was true affection and love. It didn't feel dirty it felt real. I will definitely look for more books by this author.
