Back at Timbertop he ate a quick lunch, then fired up AutoCAD to create a set of detailed architectural drawings a builder could work from to construct Hayley’s house. She had a day off from the café, and although her truck was in the driveway there was no sign of her. She’d probably taken one of the horses out for exercise. As he tapped keystrokes into the computer he found himself listening for the sound of hooves on gravel or her special whistle for Shane. When Hayley told Summer she was going to try to continue her horse therapy, he’d been surprised but also pleased to think he might have influenced her.
