Such potential here, Ryan a likable hero...Katie a smart talking independant woman, then it went to the ridiculous. I know it's fiction but please, a firefighter who gets involved with a woman who had tried to commit fraud by setting her bar on fire, really? I'm sorry but that's an insult to firefighters. I know a few and I can not see any of them taking this approach, finding therapy for the woman maybe but never keeping silent. Then some of the plot "high points"...the reunion of Ryan and Zeke, why? The bachelorette party--yea, every woman's fantasy but highly unlikely. The pose down...maybe, these guys do like to show off. Ella Joy's return, once again....why? I was just all around disappointed in this book. Kept hoping it would get better and it didn't. Yes, I did read it all the way through, figured I can't review it if I didn't have all the facts. In Bernard’s romance novel, Katie Dane knows nothing about running a bar. With her father ill, she steps up to take the load off. Hiring a former firefighter to tend bar just may be the biggest mistake she’s made to date because she knows better than to mix business and pleasure. Ryan Blake is handsome and determined to regain his position at Station One. Tending bar is just temporary but the feelings Katie provokes in him are anything but temporary.Just when Katie thought things couldn’t get worse, a career criminal, a gorgeous barfly, a fireman bachelorette party, a million-dollar insurance policy, a fiery romance, all add up to everything going up in flames.A hot addition to the A Bachelor Fireman Novel series.
