I checked this book out of the library and was fooled by the fact it wasn't labeled as a romance novel (which I avoid at all costs). No offense to romance readers but it's just not a genre I enjoy - and this book reinforced that. I had hopes that it would be along the lines of the Elm Creek Quilts books by Jennifer Chiaverini. I was suspicious from the beginning but I kept reading. Perhaps this is formulaic romance but the two main characters were so unrealistic and behaved in such a stupid way. My love of knitting and fibers kept me reading but there was not enough to make it worth the time it took to read. Lovely romantic story about a wounded soul who tries to run away from a bad relationship when she inherits a piece of property. Her new neighbor is a rustic manly cowboy and the two need to learn to live with one another as the sheep farmer and the knitting shop owner become friends they also fall in love. Really enjoyed this sweet romance novel - look forward to reading another from this author.
Good love story with knitting - a perfect mix!
