When I first read "How to Wash a Cat," it didn't exactly thrill me and I was very confused by the ending. But with each subsequent book, I started enjoying the series more and more. Once I started to picture the scenes in my mind, I could actually see the books being made into a movie that would be quite entertaining. The characters are quirky, and any cat lover would immediately love Rupert and Isabella. Once I let go my my preconceived notions, I began to enjoy the series for what it is . . . a crazy treasure hunt more than a typical "who done it." well i thought i would really enjoy this series. but for some reason i find it very wordy, at times boring and sleep inducing. i dont know if it is just me but i get sleepy reading these books. i thought maybe the second one wouldnt be as bad, but so far it still puts me to sleep. i enjoy the premise of the books, but there are so many people to keep track of, so much going on and it just gets all confusing. i wish i liked this book better.

Very well-written and descriptive. Cute and amusing story. Plus, there's cats. :)
