I Am Zlatan: My Story On And Off The Field (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
The story of Zlatan is just as large as the footballer himself. Told with an honesty that does nothing to hide his true character the book is a nice read. However after a while it starts reading like a book written to justify his attitude and his bad boy image, which frankly speaking is an overkill after a point. Fine, he doesn't like rules, sure he is not your traditional striker but after the 20th justification, it gets a bit too much. But Zlatan is Zaltan and this is a book worth a read. An interesting look at one of the elite football players playing today. In his own words we learn from his humble beginnings to his name being chanted by fans and haters alike. I admire Zlatan as a player but his on the field antics (and occasional off the field antics) often have me shaking my head. In this biography we get a chance to see the real person and how he feels about some of the things that have created headlines around the world.Love him or hate him, his book is entertaining and does provide quite a bit of insight into who he is as a person on and off the field and what drives him to be the best in the world amid controversy and personal injury. A must for anyone that loves the sport or wants to know more about this prolific player.
What do You think about I Am Zlatan: My Story On And Off The Field (2011)?
Intressant bok. Dels ur ett socialt perspektiv, dels om man som jag är fotbollsintresserad.
