I Don't: A Christmas Wish (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
I enjoyed this story, it was warm and had a festive holiday feeling to it. But it was also pretty political and honestly i couldnt decide if i wanted them to get married or not! The whole family really presssured Owen and treated Seth like he was at fault too. He kept parroting his lovers reasons why Owen didnt want to marry, but Seth truly just wanted to tie the knot. I thought he was a bit young for a lifetime commitment but seeing as how thats how he was raised i can kind of see that. The love between the two was sweet and there was a lot of guns involved, so it was pretty entertaining. Great author, sweet story! I RECEIVED THE COPY OF THIS STORY AS A FREE REVIEWING COPYI am not surprised that this writer can do sweet (and funny) so well. I was very impressed how in the short novelette she managed to make Seth's family such distinct characters, even if they are only playing small roles.I really liked Seth and Owen together, I just felt that this is the couple that is in for a long run.Did I mention how funny it was?The only kind of downside for me (this is not a criticism of the story structure - just how I felt after reading it) was that I did not feel that Owen's view was given enough respect and I felt that it deserved respect. As funny and touching Seth's family attitude was, I really wished he (and Seth!) would tell them to mind their own business.I was also very happy with different females in Seth's family. Very impressed.

Cute short story. I laughed so hard that my son came from across the house asking what was so funny.
