I am a follower of the weight watchers program and usually a fan of Jennifer's work but this book was entirely unlikable. She adds stories that bring nothing to the story which ends up appearing like she simply wanted to name drop. She also seems like she is trying to explain herself for things that have happened in the media or that her 'fans' would have heard of. The shocking thing is that the stories are attempting to portray sass but just come off as rude. The WW encouragement is nice and if you're on the plan she says some encouraging things about staying on track and staying dedicated. Outside of that, I do not recommend this book. I read this book because it was sitting in a communal area in my office and I needed reading material for my train ride home. This was a Weight Watchers commercial in book form. I have nothing against Jennifer Hudson - I just don't think she should be writing books. The book has zero literary value. It reads like she's talking to you on the phone and there are typos in it as well. Why did I finish reading it if it was so bad? I'm not sure myself.
The whole book is pretty much just about Weight Watchers. Just wasn't what I was expecting. . .

Interesting story of her life. She made some good points about weight loss.
