These books are the literary equivalent of comfort food. I try not to make too many comparisons to Sophie Kinsella but it really is reminiscent of the Shopaholic series (which is high praise, to be clear).Kelk's characters are lively and vibrant. She has a real knack for writing female friendships. Her descriptions of Angela and Jenny are genuinely filled with humor and lots of heart. Their relationship is really the backbone of the series; Angela's relationship with Alex isn't written with nearly half as much enthusiasm.Vegas proves to be another fun and drama filled addition to the series. I'm looking forward to reading more of her books. Witty, hilarious, flirty, fabulous, and insanely fashionable. My absolute favorite of the series so far. I LOVED LOVED the maniac awesome adventure that Angela went on with Jenny. Wow Angela knows how to get herself into trouble but yay for that, more for me to enjoy! I should have known though, Vegas doesn't exactly scream good decisions ;) First of all, Angela managed to put her foot so deeply into her mouth this time, it took a lot for her to work out. Alex is the best boyfriend, he was understanding, sweet and thoughtful even when Angela didn't deserve it.SPOILER ALERT:That proposal in the end, so romantic, and very very fitting Angela and Alex. Also, the location. 'swoon'
