I finally started the Guild Hunter series. I love Singh's Psy/Changeling series, but this one didn't intrigue me enough until I was bored enough to start it.Though the world was rich and complex, it lacked the magic that the Psy/Changeling series has. Raphael may be hot, but I found him intolerably cocky/rude/etc 90% of the time. The tone was much more dark and gory than I was expecting (and than I wanted).I tried it, but I think I'll go re-read the Psy/Changeling books for the millionth time instead of reading the other Guild Hunter books. DNF at 200 pages, and that's about 100 pages longer than I should've given this book.I can't wrap my mind around the whole "I fear you, I know you're going to kill me, but boy, do you ever make my panties damp!" No. Just no. The dialogue was awful and sometimes didn't make any sense. The romance was cheesy. The only time I was interested was when they were tracking Ulam. Given the number of four- and five-star ratings on this book, I'd again have to say: "It's me. Not you."
What do You think about Il Profumo Del Sangue (2011)?
Love this book! It just has the right amount of action and romance, I couldn't put it down
