I loved this book. And for Autumn's first ever book, she definitely did a stellar job (proving that she truly possesses the gift of being an authoress). This book was almost déjà vu for me... I went through almost the exact same thing as Willow did, my Senior year of high school; cheating boyfriend, leaves her for another girl, she has to survive school with awkward stares and a former flame coming in to help make it all better. Autumn really hit all of the emotions that Willow experienced right on the nail. Like all of Autumn's books, she really makes you fall madly in love with the male love interest and really wish he were a real life person. She has such a gift for wiring male characters that are genuine.I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a cute love story between young-ish adults and has a happy ending. It's a 4.5 for me. It started out rocky, because I had to wade through a lot of purple prose that reminded me of Shatter Me, which is not too bad, if it's done in the right way. After the firs few chapters, the writing straightened, and I was able to actually see the story, and the characters. I loved them. I really like Willow's character arch, how she developed and became a stronger, more confident version of herself. Kudos to Ms. Doughton for writing this book that made my afternoon pretty enjoyable!

Hoping that there is a follow-up to this story. I felt like there was more story to tell.
