I liked the book and would defiantly recommend it to my friends. This book was a page turner and being the final book in the series I was really eager to find out what was going to happen. I picked this book because the librarian asked me what I liked and she said this series would be a great book for me to read. The setting of this book is somewhere in upstate New York, but slowly they move closer New York City. The Main character is facing a pretty big external conflict, he has to try to stop a terrorist from killing millions all while being chased by the police. The character is a dynamic one. I said this because at the begging he thought everyone was against him but as the story went on he relied more people are on his side. I would describe charlie as patriotic, heroic, and brave. "You have a phone call...Hello charlie west this is president Spender." (Andrew Klavan)(340). It proves my point that even though he was a convicted killer people were eventually on his side. The theme of the book is never give up. He says this allot during the story and he showed the reader that he was stronger then everyone. 1st, remember that this is a book in the teens section of the library.I enjoyed it and I am not a teen. It posits difficult situations where there may be no good outcome. What would you do if you were innocent and in prison and knew about a terrorist attack, but nobody believed you?Explores issues of frustration and interpretations and perceptions of what is considered good/bad. Not every situation is obvious as you will find from reading this book. A good book for studying ethics.
This series was beyond amazing. If I could give it 6 stars I would.
