IMPOSTER*****Eve is a chemist going to a conference with her partner Richard. When they wreck another car pulls up and informs Eve she is being charged for terrorism. Burke is a secret CIA agent tasked to stop chemical terrorism. Eve is implicated along with her partner who dies in the wreck . When two attempts to kill Eve fail, Burke takes her into hiding until they figure out who Richard's partner is. I read the reviews and there were several negative one. I almost didn't read it but once I started I couldn't stop. I really enjoyed it. There's a super secret agent, a forensic cop turned chemist, and of course bad guys. In general, quite a good book. fast paced, well written, the plot and the build up are actually quite good and make you want to read a bit further and further. Sadly, the ending is a big let down - it's rushed and it's disappointing to see all this build up being just resolved in one paragraph. it felt as if the author had a deadline she just couldn't miss. i just hope book two is a bit better structured in that sense.
What do You think about Imposter (2011)?
I managed to get three quarters through before setting it aside and forgetting about it.

I liked the idea of this book but it just never seemed to be cohesive.
