In The Arms Of Stone Angels (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
1.5 Stars.This was just not what I thought it was. Maybe I missed something but I didn't see any paranormal aspects, except for Brenna's occasional visions of dead people. It was more like a regular crime drama with teenagers. I hated Brenna - she was pretentious, whiny, rude, and I just don't think she was a good friend to White Bird. If they were so close and had such a connection, she wouldn't have just left him to be accused of murder, especially if she truly believed he didn't do it. Most of the events that happened in the book, as part of the "plot", seemed way too far-fetched and out of left field. I guess if the books was a little longer so it went into detail about the case and everything it would make more sense (not that I want it to be longer after reading). The ending was rushed, Brenna was forgiven, and everything was wrapped up so perfectly. Not what I expected in any way, and not that's not a good thing. I am happy to say that this was the very first YA book I every read. Seeming I was only eleven, I wasn't that... *educated* on some of the things mentioned in this book. But even after the years I remember it being pretty good. But I am planning to read this again just to see if Ill like it more that I did then, now that I know the meaning of the 'bad words' that are contained in this book. Well, I'll be back on this page soon enough.

Well, this was pretty terrible. A+ for the murderer though, not so much for the main character.
